Sarah McCluskey is a Bath based (so she’s reasonably clean) compere, performer, clown and is at all times left handed.
Since Plinth-ing in Trafalgar Square in 2009 as part of Antony Gormley’s One and Other project she has honed her comedic skills at Chapel Arts Bath www.chapelarts.org, as a regular compere at their Burlesque nights.
Sarah has also been a member of The Delegates Street Theatre group https://thedelegatesstreetarts.wordpress.com who performed on the festival circuit 2011-2013, as the Insectologists, Circuit Trainers and Bankers on Active Community Service(BACS) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5WI21y5TZI#
She co ordinated the Alternative Queen of Bath Competition at the Spiegeltent with the severed head of Anne Boleyn, Edward V11 and Miss Bristol as judges. The winner was crowned as a sheep loving girl from the Baa-th countryside, who sadly suffered with ticks.
Queenie, Cleaner to the Stars, is now part of her repertoire Queenie Showreel 2016 and has performed at 2016-2017 at Glastonbury Bandstand, Bath Fringe Festival, Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol, and with the Hot Potato Syncopators https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9U_fMHyUPU
Sarah works with Bath’s Natural Theatre company on their participation projects www.naturaltheatre.co.uk and has trained with clown guru Holly Stoppit www.hollystoppit.com
A mature and versatile performer happiest when the audience suspends belief in what they are seeing, and debates what to have for tea tomorrow.
Sarah has Public Liability Insurance , an enhanced DBS and was once a member of the Slade fan club
